An incredibly quick sketch of Tohsaka Rin from Type-Moon’s visual novel, Fate/Stay Night. The large image on the left is what I did, while the blue on the right was what I used for reference. Obviously the image in the lower right-hand corner is official art.
I had no pencil when I did this, so it’s just raw multiliner with no chance of correcting the sketch itself. Ah well, I’m halfway pleased with it. I hadn’t drawn anything for months at that point.
Video game tester for a day! Went to Spicy Horse today to test and give feedback for their upcoming game, BigHead Bash. It was a lot of fun! (My name gets to be in the credits too. Squee!) A commission of sorts. I unfortunately am only an average illustrator at best - I would love to be better, and of course the only thing that’s left to do in that area is practise, practise, practise! I recently acquired some Copic ciao markers for my birthday, but sadly I’m absolutely horrible at using them. ^^;;; Another thing that takes practise, ne?
When I was younger, I wanted to be a mangaka. That desire is still in me, somewhere.
Done in a 0.5mm pencil (my kidney for a 0.3). Maybe someday I’ll ink it and attempt to colour it. Maybe.
